DK Lawrence Design Studios, LLC (DKL) is a growing Landscape Architecture and Planning Design Firm located in the Pittsburgh Metro area with experience teaming on small contracts to 60M design and construction projects in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland and DC area. DK Lawrence Design Studios, LLC (DKL) is a design-oriented AEC office with an emphasis on great landscape architectural, landscape restoration and management, land planning design and engineering and environmentally responsible services and solutions for our clients. As stewards of the environment, we are seeking contracts that challenge us and reflect our past project success. Our Pittsburgh office is looking for a Grant and Contract Development Specialist to join our team and help grow our company and be an asset to the organizational growth and growth projections for the company.
Grant and Contract Procurement Specialist
Our specialists will seek opportunities in the local, state and federal sector, finding DCNR parks opportunities and recreation projects in the state of Pennsylvania as well as PA Bidmatch marketplace, healthcare providers, science and technology organizations, higher education and cultural institutions, urban environments, mixed-use and waterfront developments, and parks and open spaces.
The Grant and Contract Development Specialist Partnership will play a key role in helping advance projects and positioning the firm to secure new business opportunities. This role will be responsible for the research and development of grant and philanthropic funding opportunities across private and public sectors, working with the leadership from our main office and markets in which the Grant and contract Development Specialist will support firm growth and client funding needs.
The position is located in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania metro area but may be a telecommuting, part-time, and/or hybrid position with convenient meetings. The Grant and Contract Development Specialist will report to the Director of Operations in that affiliated office.
Working with us, you will:
• Research grant-awarding organizations like DCNR and seek opportunities for (DKL) and clients.
• Draft, review, and submit grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of
• Create and maintain relationships with funding agencies.
• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in successful grant writing.
• Knowledge of the AEC Industry is preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience is required.
• Adobe InDesign experience is preferred.
